Rumours that HTC is working on a low-cost ICS smartphone, codenamed Golf, have been on the web for quite some time now, but for the first time an image of the much-talked about device has come out.


From the alleged HTC Golf image posted by tech site Pocketnow, the device looks like a miniature version of HTC's new flagship phone, the One X. The forthcoming HTC device will be priced lower than other smartphones in One series.


Speaking of specifications, the HTC Golf is supposed to come with a single-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in memory, along with a microSD card slot. It will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 4.0 platforms. The device will have a 3.5-inch display with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. For connectivity, the device is going to support Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The HTC Golf is rumoured to feature a 5MP camera, front facing camera along with HTC's Beats Audio software.
